How it works

Pay for your cab fare, and then let us know how much it cost you. We’ll let your employer know to set that amount aside from your pre-tax pay, and then we’ll make sure you’re reimbursed – using your pre-tax dollars.

What you need to know

Your taxi ride must be a single trip – either beginning or ending at your work place. 

If you have an injury or illness you can include travel between your home, work, and any place you may be required to go as a result of your injury or illness, such as a doctor.

Remember, if you include this item in your salary package, you won’t be able to claim it on your tax return.
