You can’t package any membership or subscription that has been paid by your employer
Setting up a home office can cost a whole lot less when you package expenses like furniture, computers and software. Plus, you’ll get the GST refunded as well, which means an extra 10% saving.
You can only package items which are 100% work related. You can buy as many items as you like, since there’s no limit on how many times you can package. But each item you buy must be $300 or less. If an item is worth more than $300, you have to rent it.

Keep in mind that if your employer provides a uniform allowance, you can only package the cost exceeding the amount of that allowance. Also, like all salary packaged items, you can’t claim an income tax deduction on a packaged uniform.
