We’re happy to be The Mater QLD Group's (Mater QLD) new salary packaging provider and would like to wish you a warm welcome to Smartsalary. We’re working closely with your employer and your current provider to make the transition of your salary packaging arrangements as smooth as possible.

Smartsalary will create your account and payments based on the data received from Remserv. Please ensure to check details thoroughly and ensure all details are correct. We have provided all information about the transition of your salary packaging here. If you can’t find the answer to your question, choose one of the following options to get further help.

Your new Smartsalary account

Your current salary packaging arrangements will be transitioned automatically – you do not need to complete new salary packaging forms. We will work with Mater QLD and Remserv to finalise all the details of the transition.

Smartsalary will create your account and payments based on the data received from Remserv. Please ensure to check details thoroughly and ensure all details are correct.

Once your account is ready to go, you will receive an email notification from us advising your online account is ready. Step-by-step instructions for accessing your account will be included in this email.

When you log in to your Smartsalary account, you can view upcoming deductions, confirm personal details, submit claims for reimbursement and much more.

If you have a remaining balance in your Remserv account, it will be sent to us. We will contact you once this has been added to your Smartsalary account.

If you have submitted a claim to Remserv and it hasn’t been paid when your account is transitioned, we will receive the information about your claim from Remserv as part of the transition.

If you have a Remserv wallet, you will need a new card type to be issued. We will order a new Smartsalary Salary Packaging and Meal Entertainment card for you to replace the Remserv wallet. Your Remserv Cards will be cancelled on 14 November 2022.


If you have any balance remaining in your Remserv wallet will be sent to us once Remserv has completed reconciling your account. These funds will then be added to your new Smartsalary Card. We do not know how long it will take for Remserv to provide us with any remaining balance, so we strongly encourage you to spend all of your balance before the transition if possible.

 

The easier and safer way to pay

You can now enjoy all the benefits of your Smartsalary card with Apple Pay and Google Pay. It’s simple and works with the devices you use every day. Your card information is secure because it isn’t stored on your device or shared when you pay. Paying in stores, selected apps and on participating websites has never been easier, safer or more private.

Paying using Apple Pay

Apple Pay is the easier, safer way to pay in stores, in selected apps and on participating websites with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad and Mac*. You can quickly check out using the devices you carry every day.

Google Pay

If you have an Android phone, it’s easy to add your card to Google Pay. Once you’ve completed the set-up process, you’ll be able to use Google Pay, where contactless payments are available, or where the Google Pay logo appears online.
